Let me introduce to you Miss Huda Sarhang Abdulrahman

The founder of Lala candles brand, the first handmade candles brand in Kurdistan.

Huda, 25 years old, is a graduate of UKH, holding BA and MA degree in Politics and international relations. She works for one of the international organizations in Kurdistan, however beside her full-time job, she has started her own business of candles and as an entrepreneur, she is reviving a lot of attention as she has mixed the Kurdistani culture with candles.

Huda says "It is true that my study area is totally different from what I do now, however, I don’t regret it. Instead, I am planning to expand my business and build a factory of first handmade candles in Kurdistan where other women can join me have work with me".

باندی یەکەمی مۆم لە کوردستان

لە ڤیسیڤاڵی #دەستخۆش بەرهەمەکانی سەرنجیان راکێشام. ئەو کچێکی گەنجە و خۆی داهێنانی کردووە لە دروستکردنی مۆم و تێکەڵکردنی بە کولتوری کوردی.

ناوی تەواوی هودا سەرهەنگ عەبدولرەحمانە، ٢٥ ساڵ تەمەنیەتی و بەکالۆریۆس و ماستەری لە بەشی سیاسەت و پەیوەندییە نێودەوڵەتییەکانی زانکۆی کوردستان وەرگرتووە. لە پاڵ ئەوەی لە رێکخراوێکی نێودەوڵەتی کاردەکات، هودا پەرەی بە بزنسی خۆیداوە و وەکو کچە خاوەنکارێک رۆژی لە هەڵاتندایە. ئەو مۆمی لە نێو پیاڵە دروست کردووە، تیلتیلەی ژنانەی کوردەواری لە ملی مۆمەکانی کردووە و مۆمی وەکو بەرهەمێکی جیهانی تێکەڵی کولتوری کوردی کردووە.

هودا دەڵێ" راستە بواری خوێندنم و ئەو کارەم وەکو یەک نین، بەڵام نەک پەشیمان نیم، بەڵکو کار دەکەم کە بزنسەکەم پێش بخەم بۆ ئەوەی دەرفەتی کارکردن بۆ ژمارەیەک ئافرەتیش دابین بکەم"
